Patrik Thomas is an artist and filmmaker with a background in art & technology, interested in the experimental aspects and transmedial forms and work methods of visual culture. He holds a BA in filmmaking and has a long freelance experience in computer science. Since 2012 he is enrolled at the academy of fine arts Munich with the focus on conceptual art, installations and time based media. In 2013 he initiated THE RANDOM COLLECTIVE a fluid transcultural network of artists, researchers and techies. In his projects he often addresses questions of mobility, borders and truth.
